In response to Hurricane Helene, The Hope Initiative has partnered with Pilgrim’s Pride to support Douglas, Georgia, and Coffee County through Coaching, Collaboration, and Construction.
We are sharing our expertise by coaching the newly formed Long-Term Recovery Team, “Hope for Coffee,” equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed for effective community recovery. Through collaboration with multiple agencies and dedicated volunteers, we are assisting in debris removal and critical repairs to help families rebuild.
Looking ahead to 2025, The Hope Initiative and Pilgrim’s Pride will begin constructing new homes through our “Build Hope” program, providing stability and renewed hope for those in need.
Your support helps us bring hope, healing, and stability to families affected by disasters. Every donation fuels recovery efforts, builds new homes, and strengthens communities.
Coaching means empowering communities with the knowledge, tools, and guidance needed to rebuild and recover after disasters. By mentoring local teams like “Hope for Coffee,” we share our expertise to help them establish effective long-term recovery strategies, ensuring sustainable progress for years to come.
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. By working hand-in-hand with volunteers, local organizations, and national agencies, we combine resources, ideas, and efforts to address immediate needs such as debris removal and repairs, creating stronger, more resilient communities.
Construction is the culmination of our mission—building homes, hope, and stability for families in need. Through programs like “Build Hope,” we transform lives by providing high-quality, affordable housing to restore a sense of security and belonging in the wake of disaster.
